Added: 24.10.2014 5:12 | 3 views | 0 comments

VRFocus - The origins of the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) have been well documented. Added: 23.10.2014 4:12 | 7 views | 0 comments

Blane talks to Saleem Dabbous from Ko-Op Mode about their experimental approach to game design, how their studio functions, and their upcoming game GNOG. Rather than functioning like a traditional studio where the entire team is working on completing a game, Ko-Op Mode members are each working on their own unique games and can help other team members as needed. Some examples of Ko-Ops experimental game design philosophy can be seen in Please Dont, Space Dog, a convention exclusive game where players use a MIDI sound board and an Oculus Rift to pilot a shuttle in space, and GNOG, a game that has players solving puzzles inside the Gnoggins of monsters.
